Psychiatrist
Dr Hoosen completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of Cape Town (UCT). He undertook his specialist training in psychiatry in United Kingdom. Thereafter, Dr Hoosen worked as a consultant psychiatrist in the NHS (National Health Service) in the United Kingdom for several years.
Dr Hoosen is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. He also holds post graduate diplomas in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Occupational Medicine from the United Kingdom and completed a certified expert witness training course with Cardiff University. Dr Hoosen is also a senior lecturer at the department of psychiatry at the University of Cape Town.
Dr Hoosen’s special interests are in general psychiatry, addiction psychiatry and mental health in the workplace.
Psychologist
Dr Kader provides psychotherapy for a wide range of clinical disorders, including mood disorders, anxiety related disorders, adjustment disorders, relationship issues and generally helping people to cope with life stressors. She offers individual and family therapy as well as group psychotherapy
Dr Kader is also competent in clinical practice, research and training in substance abuse prevention and treatment. She has published several articles in peer reviewed journals. She is certified Global Master Trainer for training health professionals internationally on the Universal Prevention and Treatment Curriculum for Substance Use Disorders. She has trained health professionals from Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Mexico, Peru, Fiji, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand and participants among other countries.
Psychologist
Dr. Anita Padmanabhanunni (PhD) is a registered Counselling Psychologist. She specializes in working with trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder as well as depression and anxiety related problems. The psychological interventions that she uses are predominantly drawn from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Schema Therapy, as these therapeutic approaches have consistently been among the most effective in addressing a range of psychological problems. Her approach to therapy is one of compassion and respect, with the aim of honouring those places within you where you have felt scared, ashamed, wounded or vulnerable and to work with you in rebuilding and transforming your life and relationships.
Clinical Psychologist
Kamal Kamloodien has over twenty years’ experience as a Clinical Psychologist. He specialises in adult and adolescent assessment and psychotherapy. He has also been involved in clinical training at UWC and offers supervision to registered counsellors and psychologists. He has also acted as a trainer to various organizations. Training included trauma, Substance abuse, motivational interviews, assessment and basic counselling skills. He was awarded a fellowship to Bergen University in Norway.
Kamal is interested in serving adults and adolescents with various psychological needs, this include depressions, anxieties, addictions, trauma and marital problems. He offers individual, couple and group therapy.

Dr Ganasen completed his postgraduate specialist training in psychiatry in 2012 from UCT. MBChB (UCT) FCPsych (SA)
Thereafter he was a consultant psychiatrist and lecturer in the Department of Psychiatry UCT for 3 years.
He has worked on numerous studies and trials in psychiatry, published articles in international peer review journals, as well as chapters in various internationally published books in the areas of mood and anxiety disorders.
Dr Ganasen practices both from Mindwizeclinic and from his practice in Westlake , Tokai.
